Time Management

After looking over everything that I spend time throughout the week I can honestly say I have 25-30 hrs a week to work on these assignments. I am a full time student but since I don't work and stay home with my kids I have enough time to delegate school work in. I know at times it will be though since my children want my attention every minute but there are such things as naps and bedtimes. It may take me a while but I know I can make it threw the class. If something should happen where I wasn't able to study for a day I know my family will be here to help me out with my little ones while I do homework. All the hard work put into school will pay off for all of us in the long run and that's the way I have keep looking at things when they get rough.

My Life

My name is Lorraine Schmidt, I'm 31 years old and a mother of two and I'm a stay at home mom. I'm taking this class as a pre-req for RN program. I'm not sure if I'm going to take it at MCC yet or try for Kaplan University. I am a certified nurses assistant right now but since having my kids I no longer work for I wasn't making enough to pay for daycare.

Something interesting about me is that I was in the USN. I joined in 01Oct-05May, I loved almost every minute of it. I have been around the world while I was in the navy. My job title was AO (aviation ordinance). Basically what I did was load 500-1000 lb bombs onto F-14A Tomcats. If you aren't sure what jet that is just think of the movie Top Gun. I also would like to clarify that Goose would never have died in real life for the canopy jettisons off before the pilot and rio are ejected from the jet.

Questions, Concerns, Suggestions and Help

My only concern at this point in time is the simple fact that I haven't had an English class in over 10 years. I'm wondering if I will be able to keep up with everyone else not only in the gap of English but also for the fact I'm not sure on how to use this new computer I just purchased. I thought Mac's were suppose to be easier to use.
